Private Yoga Therapy sessions are an opportunity for us to learn together about the factors building your current experience and which yoga tools are effective in moving you toward your goals. I’ve helped people manage their chronic pain, posture, heart disease, diabetes, osteoporosis, scoliosis, anxiety, depression, arthritis, spinal injuries, insomnia, stress, and more. POSTPONED 6-Week Back Pain Series- Thursday Evenings 5:30-6:45pm April 9-May 14. This is a 75-minute class that meets once weekly for six weeks at Creating a Sustainable You. In this series, you will learn practical lifestyle hacks, relaxation techniques, gentle movement, and core strengthening to improve chronic back pain. This series is appropriate for those with spinal/disc injuries, as long as you can get down onto the floor. Limit 10 participants. All props and mats are provided. POSTPONED 6-Week Healthy Bones Series- Wednesday Evenings 5-6:30pm April 8-May 13. 6-week yoga series on building healthy bones. Whether you have osteopenia, osteoporosis, or you’re interested in preventing bone mineral loss, you can practice in a safe, non-competitive atmosphere with a professional trained in delivering yoga to special populations. Yoga therapy is proven in clinical trials to stop bone mineral loss immediately when practiced daily, and is also proven to increase bone mineral density over time in all parts of the body. This class will be taught in a small group setting so that each participant has personalized support throughout the program.

Every session will focus on:
-Correcting forward posture
-Addressing stiff muscles and range of motion
-Poses to stimulate bone mineral growth and strengthen all parts of
the body
-Improving your balance

POSTPONED Neck and Shoulder Pain Class- Sunday, May 3 1:30-3pm. This 1.5 hour workshop is designed for general audiences and will work for athletes, office workers, and anyone comfortable getting down and up off the floor. We will cover some self-massage, stretching, and strengthening techniques to encourage healthy posture, movement, and range of motion. All techniques integrate with mindfulness, and carry over into your day-to-day activities. You’ll leave the workshop calm, ready for anything that comes next.
